Why its easy to re arrange Furnitue and how you sit etc but it is not as simple to follow the basic Human Elements, which is called your Body.

Computer Posture Back Pain:

Its Easy Follow advice on how to sit correctly, sitting straight with the shoulders back etc,but it is not always that simple Why? because as Adults we have developed bad posture habits

and lost Our Natural Poise and general Movement, so you're sitting posture is only one Element as to why you have Back problems,This list could involve

Computer Posture Back Pain:

I have taught many people about movement and posture In my Tai Chi Classes over many years and one big issue that normally comes up is time spent at the computer and am i sitting correctly . So Many make the big mistake of sitting up too straight and tightening their lower backs, which causes more tension in the Stomach and Back Its all about Relaxing,Spine alignment and to learn not to try to sit up too straight, you will find it much easier

Do Not ignore the Early warning Signs.

Any form discomfort whilst sitting at your computer is a sure sign you are doing something wrong.

Its normal not be too concerned if your aches and pains disappear at weekends after resting.

The prolonged periods of (and we could be talking years) of Sitting Wrongly,Walking , etc in a poor Way will gradually alter your posture and you begin to suffer all the time.

Computer Posture Back Pain:

Look out for the more serious signs: which requires Instant action Probably going to your Doctor, are tightness, Numbness or both in your Fingers, Hands, Wrists, Elbows and Shoulders. These could lead to Upper Limb Disorders, Commonly known as Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). This can be a difficult condition to treat successfully and in many cases the sufferer has had to change job completely So Prevention is Better Than Cure

If you do experience any of the symptoms Above, then talk to your Occupational Health Advisor or visit your Doctor.

The longer you have these conditions The harder it will be to Treat.

So your computer posture can have a huge influence on not only how productive you are at work, whether you get aches or pains, but also your body shape! You probably don't want to look old before your time, but if you pay little attention to how you sit at your PC you could be rapidly attaining the stoop normally associated with old age.

Remember, you don't have to sit up straight with your chin in, shoulders back ...it will only cause more problems in the long-term. Just allow your body to be poised and let the chair and floor support your weight and remember to take breaks away from you computer.
