In my View Debt is probably a large cause of a lot of illness like Stress,Anxiety, Depression, insomnia, these can lead to Heart Conditions,and other illnesses not to mention the Arguments this causes and Relationship Splits,

We all have debt of one sort or another the biggest is probably your Mortgage, or maybe a Car,and Credit cards seem to be the biggest culprit in debt

This is an important step towards being debtfree no matter which solution you chose, whether it debt consolidation, debt settlement or a debt pay down plan. These debt elimination programs are a crucial first step and are key in the financial freedom you are looking for They will either help you eliminate debt totally or bring down to a level were you can administer it and continue to pare it down until it is gone and your financially free of its chains and debt free.

These programs do their part, nevertheless, you must do yours and not accumulate debt as you did previously or the whole process will have without value Debt Elimination consequently not only involves getting rid of debt but also learning new responsibilities and behaviors so that we do not repeat the same circumstances and can be debt free for the rest of our lives

It can be argued that a small amount of debt

is not detrimental and in fact can help our credit and credit score Most individual that seek relief from debt elimination programs do not have just a small amount of debt Of course life has its ways of throwing curves at us and a job loss or sudden illness puts us in a situation were we cannot pay our debt. But the underlying debt problem existed in any case.

During and after the process of debt elimination is over its important to learn to manage our money and live within our means. A good habit to form is to prepare a monthly budget that includes all our income and expenses and both monitor its effectiveness and stick to it. Many debt related problems are simply learned behaviors that we developed over time.. The good news is that any learned behavior can be modified and new one put in its place.

For many the event they are going through will be enough to persuade them that they must change their spending habits For others their credit card mentality will take a little more struggle, but optimistically the occurrence will be enough to make them change

The first step is the simplest

and that is to make a honest promising to yourself to being debt free and start the debt elimination process. Being a debt free is not an easy process sometimes, but the reward of financial freedom and peace of mind are well worth it.
